Chef in Action Competition
You might already be familiar with the Chef in Action (CIA) events at Prescott Farmers Market (PFM). Once a month, PFM hosts a local chef at the Saturday market to prepare small bites featuring seasonal market produce. The feedback from customers is always top-notch, so we started wondering "who's the BEST?" And so the Chef in Action Competition was born.
You're invited to participate by sampling for free and voting with a few bucks or a token for your favorite bite!
Here’s the tentative schedule:
-Action begins 7:30am
-Sampling (free) & Voting (suggested donation) 8:30am-11:30am (or until supplies run out)
-WINNER ANNOUNCED 11:45am
Chef Tony raised the most donations heading into the competition and gained access to ELECTRICITY – a highly-coveted amenity at the market! You can continue supporting PFM by making a charitable donation through Saturday morning. All donations support PFM, whose mission is to support and expand local agriculture, cultivate a healthy community and increase access to affordable local food. All donations can be claimed as an AZ State Tax Credit. Thanks for your help and support of the market and its programs!
